AURA is an environmentally friendly cosmetic brand that uses all natural ingredients and biodegradable packaging to reduce waste. Displayed across three screens, this immersive experience engages viewers into the brand’s identity and aesthetic while emphasizing its commitment to sustainable beauty.
This project is my personal response to the pervasive presence of plastic in the cosmetic industry. When I look inside my makeup bag, I find plastic to be a part of everything. This observation led me to merge my eco-consciousness and my creative vision to develop a brand that prioritizes sustainable practices. Inspired by William McDonough’s philosophy that “waste is a design flaw,” I believe cosmetics and sustainability can, and should, be intertwined. I aim to encourage audiences to reflect on the environmental impact of their choices and to embrace more responsible consumption habits.
